What I find even more funny, is that almost all of the Olympic stars, whether from the Sabres or the Penguins, received a better welcome than Crosby.

Let’s face it Crosby, you may be a pretty good player and you got yourself a Stanley Cup and a Gold Medal, but you are still a whiny little cry baby – and that was proven at the beginning of that game!

I’ve got Terrific Tuesday finally rolling, at least some.  I’ve had over 70 giveaways posted this week, most ever, and on Tuesday I had over 100 visitors, most ever.  Unfortunately, the people don’t return again until the next week to post more giveaways

I’ve got more time for blogging since school is over, but what can I blog about that people will keep coming back for?  I could blog about our life (main reason for this blog to begin with) but doesn’t that get old after a while and what about the days where nothing really happens?  Would you come back if I just posted a quick post that says, “Nothing really happened today”?  Doubt it.  Can’t really post about school anymore since that’s over with, at least for the time being.  Only thing left right now in that department is waiting for the degree to arrive and commencement.  I could talk about Politics, but who wants to hear me bitch all day, every day about the idiots in office?  Not much going on in the sports world, in fact I haven’t watch much at all since the Lions SUCK and the Wings don’t really have many players worth talking about anymore, in fact I don’t think they are doing too hot at all this year.

Oh yeah, I sent out our first letter to our Soldier we adopted, now we just wait and see if we hear anything back.  They can’t guarantee we will since they don’t know if he’s on a mission or anything like that or how busy he is.  Which is fine, as long as he keeps safe and enjoys the letters and care packages he gets.

Oh!!  Yeah!!  I could work on a new header and button for the site since the ones I have don’t really match this theme Guess I should looke around for some ideas.

THAT’S RIGHT!  I want to watch HOCKEY and I’m tired of not getting to see all of the games for one reason or another, mostly being that when the Wings are playing other Western Conference teams, we don’t get to watch most of the games unless we stay up past 10PM and that’s just not happening when I have to get up and work the next day!

Let’s take a closer look at this.  Vick was “convicted in August 2007 of conspiracy and running a dogfighting operation, and was sentenced to 23 months in federal prison” (Vick, Eagles agree on multimillion-dollar deal).  He was also supposed to have been suspended from the NFL indefinitely, less than two years later he is already allowed back into the NFL.

Now, if this had been any of us non-celebrity type people, we’d have been in jail for several years for this type of conviction.  So, this is not only telling our children that if you become famous in any way, you won’t do the time that “normal” people do (take a look back at Paris Hilton and Martha Stewart).  The NFL should not have allowed Vick to be reinstated so quickly.  The man was barely out of PRISON when he was allowed back into the NFL.

You will find people who will say, he did his time, it’s his time for a second chance. He didn’t do his time.  Yeah, he did the time that he was sentenced to, but that is not the time he should have gotten, he got that time because of him being a football star, he got that little slap on the wrist because he’s famous.  The man hasn’t been out of prison for but a few months (at most) and will earn $1.6 MILLION this year being the backup quarterback with an opportunity to make $5.2 MILLION next year if he continues to play for the Eagles.

Is this fair?  I THINK NOT He was the helping hand to the MURDER of many dogs!  He was doing something he KNEW was illegal to do!  Send his stupid ass back to prison for a few more years and then we’ll talk about whether he’s really served his time!

I could have asked for a better present….like the papers being signed by the bank so we could get on with the inspections of the house, but I guess that’ll have to wait until tomorrow.  Hopefully!  Plus the Red Wings lost is the 3rd OT today, which completely SUCKED!  But hey, we got to watch over 4 hours of Red Wing hockey :rofl

Hopefully those papers come tomorrow, because I’m really tired of waiting and we still have to get past the inspecitons to ensure the house will go FHA then we have to wait for the loan to get processed.

Other than that, we are getting ready for Halloween.  Me and Thaddeus are going to be Pirates for Halloween.  I decided to dress up this year while walking around with Thaddeus.  Brandon says he’s not going to wear a costume, but Thaddeus keeps saying that “Daddy is going to be a monster”, so we’ll see how that goes.  I’ll be sure to post some pictures.

Speaking of pictures.  I’ve got some new pictures of Thaddeus that I have to get uploaded….thankfully the weekend is just about here  .  That’ll give me some time to do that.  Nothing major, just some pictures from a recent trip to the zoo, some goofy pictures of Thaddeus at home, and some pictures of him outside playing (with and without his new friend Nicholas).

We’re also planning our trip down to Kentucky, we’ll be celebrating Christmas down there this year, so I’ll hae even more pictures to post than usual during Christmas time.

Why in the world did they bring BMX into the Olympics?  It’s not a damn sport, it’s a hobby!  There is NO reason BMX should be a sport in the Olympics.  I sure hope it does NOT stick around!  Which leads me to the Trampoline and Table Tennis, also known as Ping Pong to those of us in the USA.  I don’t know how long those two have been in the Olympics, but what a waste of time to have people watch!  I don’t want to see someone hitting a little ball back and forth, super fast, on a small table or jumping up and down while doing twists, turns, and whatever else on a trampoline.  Then there is Badminton.  Isn’t that something that we do while camping or having a BBQ at our house?

Before you know it, we are going to have Euchre, Horse Shoes, Poker, and who knows what else in the Olympics
