After a bit of trouble, I have not gotten Shawn Ann’s World moved over to the new domain.  I’ve gotten most of the transfer part done and I also changed the feed over, so you should still received the email when I publish posts.  If you are reading this in an email, please come over and comment on the post letting me know you got the email so I know that part is working.

If you happen to notice anything not working properly, please let me know.  I won’t know unless you tell me

I will basically be moving back to my original home.  Back before we had Thaddeus, I had my own website (non blog platform, but it was still my blog) and it was the domain shawnann.org.  However, for finfancial reasons, I had to let it go and when we were able to get my site back up and running I wasn’t able to get the .COM so I opted for .ORG.

Anyway, once I get it all set up for the move, you really won’t even know that it’s happened because if you go to http://shawnann.com it will forward you to http://shawnann.com.  The only thing I have to figure out is if my feed will still work.  In other words, those of you who receive my little newsletter type thing with my posts may have to resign up.  I’m hoping you won’t have to go through that process, but I don’t know if the feed will transfer.  We’ll have to wait until it happens to figure that one out.  I hope you all understand.  Either way, I’m sure you won’t mind too much since it’ll always give you an extra entry (if not the main entry) to a giveaway

For the companies I am working with, have worked with, and hope to work with.  The only way that this should effect you is that my email will change.  Like the domain, the only part that will change will be the .ORG to .COM, however I will keep my .ORG email and have it forward to the .COM for about a month or so to ensure I don’t miss anything and I’ll have it automatically send you a reminder about the new email address.  All advertising will remain in place for the paid upon time.  I haven’t decided about my paypal email addy yet, I may keep it for those currently using it, but all new advertising will be asked to use the new email.

This move is going to happen within the next few days, unless something comes up.  I will let you know when it’s done so you can let me know if you see any problems!

Nothing I can really do about it now, but if you’ve commented in the last week and you don’t see your comment, that is why.  Please repost your comment, the best you can.  If you posted a comment to enter a giveaway, just put “Comment Redue #1, 2, 3, etc.” in the comment spot and I’ll accept it.  Just don’t go overboard and put 20 comments per day per giveaway.

The good news is that because of Google, I was able to copy all of my posts except one from their cache and I didn’t have to try to remember what the heck I wrote 4 days ago

Walkmeter from Abvio – this is going to be a giveaway and as of right now I still have about 15 codes to giveaway.  I’ve posted several giveaways for these already on Twitter and Facebook, so if you want an early chance at them, check my posts out on those sites.

A quick rundown of this app, if you are a walker, runner, or cyclist, this is an awesome app to use to keep track of your route, distance, and time.  It normally costs $4.99 and you can have it update your status on Facebook and Twitter.  You can look back at old routes and activities and even take the same route and see if you can make better time.

Carolina Pad – Yup, I’ve got another review and giveaway coming up for this!  It’s a new collection that also has to do with self esteem.  Great time for this review and giveaway as back to school shopping is going to be coming up soon and this will give some lucky reader a chance to start their shopping early!

JumpStart Get Moving: Family Fitness With Brooke Burke – This will be our third review/giveaway for a JumpStart Wii game.  Fun game and great family game night game!   This will be a review and giveaway, so be sure to keep an eye out!

New Balance – As you know, I’m the Keep Going® Blogger for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure® and I’ve been doing a bit of training for the event.  I’ve received a pair of NewBalance 760′s (the official show for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure®) and I’ll be posting a review these shoes.

So, I stuck with my current them but went pink with it.  I think it looks better, well maybe not better, but I’m used to this theme.  Seeing as I spent some good money on it, it’s nice to keep using it .

ETA:  OK, went back to the old theme for the time being.  I need to work out some kinks on the other theme, before I keep using it.  Too many missing features from it.

As you can tell, I’m still working on the site.  For whatever reason my other theme is NOT working correctly, which is very annoying.  I don’t know why it will not let me save all of the settings, even from a completely fresh install.

Guess I had to unveil the new theme before I was ready I’m working super hard and fast on getting this new theme working the way I want.  Because of this, I’ll be moving stuff around until I get it just right.  Hopefully it doesn’t hurt too much.

The biggest part is going to be the graphics (all of my current ones match the old theme but not this one), this takes time to do, so some of the graphics you see will not look all that great at the moment, but they eventually will match.
