My Take on it
Chicken Soup for the Soul: True Love is one of those mushy books :teehee , and this is one book that will have you laughing and crying while reading these 101 Heartwarming and Humorous Stories about Dating, Romance, Love and Marriage.  Some of the stories within the book are just wonderful and so cute and you’ll probably tear up more than once.

Reading about how other couples met is so cute, so that is going to be part of the required entry for the giveaway below.  I met my husband online in a chat room.  We didn’t go to the chat room to meet anyone and we didn’t even talk to each other much at first.  Somehow, we started chatting on ICQ.  I don’t think we’ll ever know exactly how that happened since neither of us had the others ICQ number but we started really chatting and getting to know each other and finally met.  Five months later we were married and we’ve been married for 10 years now :whew , time sure does fly!

Disclosure: I would like to thank Merritt at Phenix & Phenix Literary Publicists for providing a copy of this book for the purpose of this review. All opinion are that of my own.

I met the love of my life in Va. Beach almost 16 yrs ago, it wasnt love at first site(I thought he was rude) however he is/was the most handsome man I’ve ever seen. We’ve been through so much since then, including moving clear across the country to help care for his parents, we moved from Pgh PA to Laredo, TX!! I couldnt imagine my life without him.

Both my husband and I went to school in San Diego. I only went for a year and he went for 3. We’d go to all the same places as each other but not once did we actually lay eyes on one another. It wasn’t until I came home and found, are you ready? Myspace! I was trying to find some of the girls that used to live by us on there and came across his page. After emailing back and forth for 6 months and falling helplessly in love, we decided to meet. Love at first sight… He was and is everything I could have ever imagined and more. We’ve been together now for a little over 3 years, have been married since October, and have a beautiful 18 month old daughter together.
I know that a lot of people are sceptic over “internet love” and even shame some for using it to find love but Love is Love. Would those people rather I looked in a bar?!

p.s. I grew up in a family of 7 so any time we got the newest Chicken Soup book, I’d hide it under my mattress and read it in my closet so that I could actually read the whole thing without it going missing for months!

I am an e-mail subscriber. I met my husband at a Night Club. We were both designated drivers for the night. We danced and had a great time. That was 12 years ago. We like to laugh about it because the club is no longer there. It has been replaced by a NAPA auto parts store.

My husband and I met online, actually. I had just gotten a new computer and had never been online so I was testing out AOL (1999) and he had just moved to the area with his family and he was looking for someone local to tell him what there was to do in the area. Long story short, we chated online for about 3 weeks and on the phone for another week before we met in person. I think we were in love before we even met face to face. We were maried six months later!
We’ve now been happily married for a little over ten yeara and have a beautiful 10-month old son.

We are proof that you can meet your soul-mate online!

I met my husband when he came into the library where I worked, a mutual friend introduced us there, and then a few days later, he nervously walked up to the counter where I was and asked me out. It was so cute! Of course I said yes, and we married less than two months later! We’ve been happily married now for 19 years and have 3 children.
