I would like to introduce you to Sanita Clogs. I was introduced to them by Bronagh Hanley from Big Noise PR who has been looking for people to try out a pair of Sanita Clogs to find out how we like them and if they make us happy. They want to make sure you are feeling the Hygge, “The Ultimate Comfort” in Danish, just like the Danish feel when they are wearing clogs.
About Sanita Clogs
At Sanita, we’ve been making cozy, comfortable clogs the Danish way since 1907. In fact, we were the first to make them. Our founder, Christen Andersen, not only created the first pair by hand, he also created our first distribution system: the basket of his bicycle.
And that tradition of craftsmanship and caring lives on today in every clog we make. With innovative design and exacting standards, our shoes are always easy on your feet. And with attractive new styles every season, they’re easy on your eyes as well. Today we still handcraft our clogs in Europe. Sure, we could save a little if we outsourced the work, but we just can’t. Maybe it’s because we’ve been making them our way for over 100 years.
With Sanita Clogs you have several designs to choose from, here’s just a few samples of their clogs.

The first clog is the Professional Cabrio Black, which is what I received. The next one is from the Vegan collection and is called Professional Vegan Sarah and the third clog is from the Wood collection and is called Etta Flex. Sanita Clogs has clogs for Men, Women, and Kids. Prices range from $73 to $155. They have stores all over and you can even buy them from a couple online stores. Check out their Store Locator and Online Retailer for more specifics. For stores outside of the US please check here.
My Take On It
So, I’ve been walking around with my new clogs for about a month or so now, not wearing them every day or all the time, but I do wear them to work more than my other shoes right now. They are very different. They have what I can only describe as an arch support built into them, which takes a while to get used to, but after a while you don’t even realize it’s there anymore.

The sizes for the Sanita Clogs are different than you would be used to in the United States. See the sizing chart and features chart below.

Even though I work in an office, I do tend to do a bit of walking and standing because I work with the owner and most days my feet are just killing me from standing so long. However, I did find that the pain wasn’t nearly as bad when wearing my clogs. The built in arch/foot support of these shoes helps to more evenly spread the weight bearing down on your foot. This takes less pressure off the heal and ball of your foot, making prolonged standing and walking in these shoes more comfortable.
I definitely give Sanita Clogs a thumbs up and would recommend them to those who have jobs where you are standing and walking a lot.

Great Review! I am a huge clog lover so I think I need to check these ou!
Oh – now those are actually CUTE! I am not a clog lover -I am one of those still desperately holding on to my heels, but these are actually very cute. I love the flowery ones – would look great with jeans and a solid color top… hmmm… time to shop! LOL And great review!
The middle ones, the Professional Vegan Sarah are pretty cute! I actually think these clogs might be pretty good for me — I have a super high arch, so arch support would be a plus. Great review!
Those look really stylish! They also sound comfortable!! Great review!
I want to do a shoe review. ;-) those look like a lot of fun
My Sister In Law wears clogs and she swears by them. We have a store in our town that sells them and I have a few friends who also wear them and love them. I have also seen them on QVC. I think a lot of people think ” Tree Huggin’ Hippies” wear them. I like crocs so I may see if I can find a cheaper pair of clogs and wear them. I only wear crocs around the house and I think Clogs are shoes I could possibly wear out. Does anyone know if they are warm for they seem like summer shoes with no back to them? If they are okay for Winter I may after the first of the year buy some.
They look Great! I like something that I can just slip on :)
