I was recently given the opportunity to review The Tote Buddy, the world’s first reusable grocery bag organizer.
About The Tote Buddy
Our story starts in 2008 as two friendly neighbors wanting to make a difference in our world. Our first product is The Tote Buddy. It’s the world’s first reusable grocery bag organizer. The Tote Buddy neatly organizes reusable bags allowing you to keep them close at hand for all shopping trips. By using The Tote Buddy and reusable bags, we’re helping to keep hundreds of thousands of plastic bags out of our landfills and oceans.
The Tote Buddy is made of 100% recyclable materials, has an adjustable strap with Velcro closure, and will hold up to 10 reusable grocery bags. With The Tote Buddy you can purchase:
- The Tote Buddy Solution, which comes with three reusable bags (Floral or black with orange bags)
- The Tote Buddy, which comes with one reusable bag (Floral or black with a black bag)
- Reusable bags (black or orange)
Are you the type of person who likes to use the reusable bags instead of constantly getting plastic bags from the grocery store? I am, they are annoying because they are always ripping or breaking and let’s face it, they are not eco friendly! Over the last six months or so, we have purchased a few of the reusable bags from our local Kroger to use when we do our shopping. The only problem is what do you do with 5-10 grocery bags until your next shopping trip? Well, The Tote Buddy takes care of that problem. With The Tote Buddy you take your bags and place them inside the “folder” keeping the handles of one of the bags hanging out to use for the handle of the entire system.
Well, courtesy of Julie over at The Tote Buddy I received the The Tote Buddy for review. I was given the option to chose the black or floral, and as you can see I chose the Floral design. We used the The Tote Buddy this past weekend when we did our grocery shopping and let me tell you how much easier it is to deal with this than 5 separate bags. This system takes up a little spot in the grocery cart and you can add other reusable bags to it!
The only downfall I found is that not all bags work well with it. We have a couple reusable bags that are insulated and although they will fit within the The Tote Buddy system, you wouldn’t be able to get many in there. An easy work around for that would be to have two systems, one for regular bags and one for the insulated bags.
